Really nice tutorial @gadsby .

Maybe you can add, that from the GUI you can activate logging as well.

• First: activate Show Advanced Settings in User Interface and Logging will be avaiable under Settings
• Second: activate Logging Verbosity and Log To File
• Thirth: for a full log set Frontend Logging Level and Core Logging Level to 0 (Debug)

Now RA creates a logfile in /retroarch/logs/
