Hi, every1. one quick request. Is it possible to make a list of games that work with each of the cores.Thank you. Much appreciated.
Just google the core. Find out what system it emulates and there you go. About all of the games for that system
Love the new multi-controller feature Thank you guys
Analog play is still a no go, tho.
Configuring the controlls manualy will not make the analog work. Setting the controller as a dualshock in rgui willscrew all controlls up, and will cause a fake press (iām not pressing ANY controls.):
Other than that, everything is running smooth. Also, enhanced resolution is running AWESOME on an ipad4 (ps1).
You shouldnāt do that for now. That part got broken when meancoot revised his Bluetooth code because all the button assignments changed.
The button mappings would need to be reconfigured again. Iām going to look into getting the defaults right again.
Sure mate, thanks for your hard work youāre providing me hours of fun every single day
Small nitpick, codec calls on MGS1 flickers a lot, but since it has dialogue, itās hardly a problem, just tought iād report. Also, sometimes players will not be aple do the other players in crash team racing, tho disabling āenhanced resolution speedā (what does this do exactly?) will sometimes fix this invisible player problem.

I know āon deviceā controls are secondary in priority but⦠I wanted to just put it out there for the future.
Are there any plans (possibility) to some day supporting the accelerometer/gyro for player 1 controls. Iām thinking (dreaming) of starfox (64 even) with controls akin to Galaxy on Fire 2 for the iPhone.
Just sayinā
btw 0.9.9.3 downloads and installs great on the zodd repo.
Enhanced resolution can be a bugfest (especially if you enable the speedhack core option). These bugs arenāt there if you use the āstandard resolutionā (by turning enhanced resolution off). For best results Iād recommend you still disable it. It is just an added feature - when it works fine for a game, it works fine - when it doesnāt, not much chance of it being āfixedā unless Exophase takes a look at fixing whatever the problem is.
Yes, crazy stuff like that is definitely something Iād like to explore. But it will require planning and time. First, the accelerometer/gyros would have to be supported on Android/iOS/Blackberry.

Then good news for you! it runs fine without the speedhack on ipad4 (so i imagine on ipad3 too)
PCSX-ReARMed analog input should be supported, at least for player 1. You need to enable it in the Core Options from RGUI. Itās also PS3 pad only for now.
Input mapping issues were caused when I changed the internal mapping of the PS3 buttons. I am going to remap the WiiMote buttons in the same way so that you wonāt need to remap when switching between the two.
is this gonna include wii classic controller? great work by the way, i tried tenchu 2 and megaman x4 and works perfectlyā¦only the problem with the analogs tenchu is hard to play with the pad haha.
greetings and thanks for the great work
great job everyone !
hope to see new version with new features such as VSCUMM
I must say iām impressed by the bilinear filtering option in PSX. Although iām wondering if the option is really working in other emulations ?
Cheers
Awesome updates. Just got back from a tour and testing all the new features now. Awesome work!
Native BT (icade or not) does not seem to work now. Using both existing config and also blowing away .retroarch (I made a backup). Cannot assign/reassign keys. Even set up manually in config files, inputs are not recognized in any core.
Sorry if this already known and Iām repeating the obvious.
I cant get my Wii Remote to work. PS3/SixAxis works but Wiimote doesnt. Can you help me?
Is your sixaxis already set up to pair with your iDevice?
If so, lets do something to verify if itās a bug with btstack crapping itself or something else.
- turn off native BT and BTstack (if installed seperately) in OS settings -> bluetooth and Settings -> btstack (if applicable)
- reboot device
- start up retroarch and wait for retroarchās btstack to load (if it isnāt already, turn on btstack in retroarchās settings and wait for the backwards bt symbol to pop up in the status bar)
- get ready to load a core and press the ps button on the sixaxis. wait for the ledās to stop flashing.
- set up your keys and play normally.
This should work at least once. There are some issues with btstack getting stuck and needing a reboot (for me at least) but these instructions are just to make sure the functionality is there.

Okay. And how is this supposed to solve the problem with the WiiMote?

Derp⦠I was on mobile and misread. I thought you said neither were working for you.
Doing the same using the sync button on the wiimote yields nothing? If so, does the diagnostics log even show the attempts? I donāt have a wiimote on me this second but I will test as well once I get home. Remember, squarepusher was saying a lot of BT code has been rewritten so some things might need to be āre-implementedā. For instance, icade stopped working for me.
