Hi, I want to share this simple overlay I drew for the video game “Rhythm Heaven” for the Nintendo DS.
The reason I decided to install Retroarch was because of the Overlays feature, and well, what else to do than make one for the video game I’ve been addicted to lately.
I made a variant with darker colors, and also a non-smoothed pixel version of 640x360, in case you find it strange that the overlay is smoothed when the game isn’t.

Settings:
- Use the “MelonDS DS” core
- In Core “Settings/Screen” have a Layout set to “Rotated Left” (Obviously).
- In “Screen Gap” set to 80px.
- And finally, in “On-Screen Overlay”, open and activate the overlay and activate the “Auto-Scale Overlay” option.
