SameBoy is so much more slower than Gambatte! For whatever reason, the standalone version works much better! Not like I am hating on the core… ( well I kinda am! )
Gambatte is amazingly fast, yes. You really shouldn’t be comparing other cores to it for speed.
So, are you saying the Sameboy standalone application is faster than the libretro core? I haven’t used standalone at all, so I have no frame of reference.
I have compared them again and for some reason, they are equally as bad! I swear it either got better or my laptop got worse! :’(
