Saves in Mednafen PSX Core

Hello,

I am using in game save points for some games and when it saves the game it say its saving to memory card but when I try to load it,it says no data found. I was wondering what I might be doing wrong and when I look in my system folder I see the .mcr file for that game which is what I thought where the saves for the memory card got saved to. What could I be doing wrong or is there some option I need to change? Thanks.

Make sure you have read/write privs to the ‘system’ directory and the ‘save’ directory, and make sure you’re exiting cleanly (generally by using the ‘quit retroarch’ option from the menu)
