ScummVM CD audio not working

Hi,

I tried the ScummVM core today for the first time (on windows and android), and I can’t get the CD audio tracks to play The game I tested is Secret of Monkey Island (CD version).

Audio tracks seem to be correctly setup in my game’s folder (track1.fla, track2.fla, …), and it works just fine with 2 other scummvm android emus and the official scummvm emulator for windows.

Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone? Is this a know limitation or a bug?

At the moment the cores are only compiled with Vorbis support, not FLAC. Try converting the audio tracks to vorbis and see it it works.

Thank you diablodiab. It worked on my Shield Portable!

BUT it does not work with the windows version (I tried many different formats). I always get a message saying that I need to extract the audio from the CD, and when the game runs there are no cd tracks being played.

It’s not a big deal for me because I mainly want to use ScummVM on android, but I thought It would be useful to flag it up, in case there’s a bug for the windows version that needs to be fixed

Have you tested with the most recent version of the ScummVM core. Vorbis support was added to the Windows version today.

I just updated the core and it worked! Strange how I tried ScummVM on Retroarch 2 days ago for the first time and today the CD audio got fixed on windows

thanks for your help
