Solved: Microsoft X-Box 360 pad 0 not configured

Solved: At least I know what is causing this. Running Steam will emulated those virtual devices for some reason. So it’s no longer an issue for me.

This issue is new in RetroArch 1.18.0, as a few weeks prior at 1.17.0 (and all the years before) this wasn’t happening. I updated Controller Pofiles and everything else with the Onliner Updater. First, I get this message when starting RetroArch:

But I don’t have a 360 gamepad. Only two gamepads are connected, 1. Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad and 2. Xbox One S controller . The Xbox controller is connected with wireless with Microsofts proprietary adapter, using xone driver (which didn’t have an update for long time). When I go to the Port 3 Controls, this is listed under Device Index: Microsoft X-Box 360 pad 0

When I turn off the Xbox controller and restart RetroArch, I have only one gamepad message and this:

Disconnecting the wireless adapter from USB will have same message and index as this last screenshot (ibuffalo first then 360 pad) These Xbox 360 pads wasn’t there in RetroArch 1.17.0. I’m not sure what to do or how to troubleshoot. Here the log starting and closing RetroArch without the Xbox One S controller:

Oh it’s STEAM! Running Steam in the background for some reason causes this. I don’t remember this happening before and didn’t run RetroArch and Steam at the same time for a while. So to me this is not a real issue on my PC, but I wonder what is happening or happened.
