I just needed to hit that Time Gal info… and it launched correctly…
Sonninnos to the rescue! Tnx
I don’t think I fully understood the examples and what’s WGC Window Capture for Libretro exactly about. I use ReShade (‘Axel-Television’ CRT) for modern games on Steam. Does this addon run games with Retroarch shaders or I misunderstood sth? I’m not the sharpest if you noticed Any youtube vids on that? And ehm, TheNamec, that youtube channel of yours Sir, is kind of… dead (?) Busy man.
Correct, you choose the window to be captured from RetroArch and that will end up being processed by the whole shader powerhouse. That means Mega Bezel on modern pixelart games! It’s pretty recent and work in progress, I think there are no videos yet.
Heh, I’m planning for a comeback with new content, the channel was mainly used to show single Amiga models I was building.
In the meanwhile, I’ve become an avid follower for @SharkaBytes entertaining formats, lots of cool things here to learn both on Commodore gaming and digital storytelling! I’m pretty proud lots of their quality videos are showcasing my presets
Aww, thank you, Namec! They’re always a joy to use with Commodore gaming and I’m happy to do my part in promoting your shaders and the MBZ project in general. I do the same on Twitter as well as there’s still a lot of misunderstanding about just how much CRT shader tech has leapt forward since its inception. Especially from a certain subset of the MiSTer fanbase who seemingly feel they’ve invented good shaders - a personal bugbear there.
But yeah, eagerly awaiting the next RC and/or the CRTGaming pack; if you need a guinea pig to try out an early release, feel free to hit me up.
Lakka/Retroarch for Raspberry Pi 4 - can this handle TheNamec shaders? Anyone has experience with this?
The presets use the Mega Bezel, which needs a beefy GPU. The Pi4 does not have one.
If you like, you could use @TheNamec’s overlays on the Pi 4, and use a shader that runs well on it.
e.g. from @TheNamec’s pack.

It would be a shame for this great work to reach less users simply because of hardware limitations.
Hey Duimon, thanks for this. Since I already have A500 mini I tested the legacy of Retroarch = Pandory500 with its zfast composite shader. It’s no way near TheNamec but… for what it is, it looks okey: https://youtu.be/KiNr7UuJkhA
was looking into some new releases …and i have to ask …Namec how awesome is this “bootup screen” on the c64?
