go into settings > menu and all the way at the bottom, there’s an option for ‘display core name’. Set it to ON and when you load a core, it will show its name in the bottom-left corner of the screen. You can also go to settings > playlist and associate a playlist with a specific core.
Yikes…didn’t find it but got lucky naming it in the playlist file LOL.
So from this point it seems to just be a case of me going through and unzipping each PlayStation rom I have and then putting it into the playlist manually. Well, at least the non-BIN/CUE ones.
Quick question about the playlists…will they sort automatically in Lakka or will they display games in the order they are in in the playlist? The reason I ask is I just want to know if I can just add them in any order or if I should manually make sure they are alphabetized.
It seems to in my system. The playlist is a mishmash and it put the games in ABC order.
After some hours of researching and fighting to make it work, i found a solution for this!
First of all, you need .bin and .cue to get lakka detect it and put it on Playstation games list.
When you get a .img .ccd .sub game, you need to convert it, i use PowerISO for that, but here is the problem: PowerIso use ONLY .img file, leaving behind the information on .ccd and .sub. I found that Alcohol 120% free versión can mount using the .ccd file, and using .img and .sub files after reading .ccd, so, i will resume this on simple steps:
1_ Get PowerIso and Alcohol 120%, they are easy to get on Internet.
2_ Use Alcohol to mount the .ccd (Click on the virtual device created by alcohol and select mount, then, search .ccd file)
3_ Once mounted, go to My Computer, right click on the game mounted, and on PowerIso powershell options (PowerISO->) and select make image file.
4_ Select .bin file, and Click Ok
if you get an error on the end of the conversion, it doesn’t matter, search your .bin and .cue files, put them into lakka roms, and scan for them!
I hope this help someone!
