Use a Android MAME Core on PC

I know the chances are pretty slim, but I would like to know if there is a way to use an android MAME core in a Win 10 RA setup. I wasn’t thinking about it updating on the PC side and I updated the cour, it took it from 0.197 to 0.206. I can’t find any reliable updating sources since emu shut down.

I have a 0.197 copy core on a shield and would like to know if there is a way to modify it from the android side over to the pc side???

No, they are incompatible

I figured they were, is there a simple way to port it??

No, the solution is to compile the core from the correct revision for the platform you need.

Thanks for your replies, any chance you can point me some place to see if I can figure out how to do it?

I have started developing a guide for this purpose in this github issue: https://github.com/libretro/docs/issues/267

If you would like to try to follow those steps as written now it should be possible to compile for modern Windows at least.
