Is there any way to get to the PS1 bios screen via the PCSX emulator? (The screen where if you start up a real PS1 without a game in the tray, and allows you to manage the memory card data and play audio CDs).
I think the Mednafen core supports this.
Try loading the BIOS image as if it were a game. Dunno if that’ll work but it does for Sega CD and some others, so it’s worth a shot.
Thanks - that did not work, but I did find a way to do it!
If you reset the emulator, and cycle disc status to eject/open while it is on the Sony logo screen, it will go to the menu!
One odd thing is that I had to change the pad from analog to standard in order to move the cursor around.
