How is the emulation these days? Is this core getting any updates? I know it’s been years since the last official standalone version but i found that there are newer unofficial builds out there. Is the core getting those fixes?

Seems the core is based on the version 2.1.0, which is older than the last official 2.1.2 version from 2014.

Anyway, i did some tests and it seems the core must have some extra fixes and hacks or the older version was better.
Doom and Wolfenstein load and play in the core, though not very good (Doom is slow, Wolf is glitchy and has no sound). Both games don’t work at all on the 2.1.2 standalone or the latest unofficial version.
Atari Carts works on all but in the core there is some weird screen bug that makes the game render in the left part of the screen. It’s fine on 2.1.2.
Seems like a mix & max for which one has the least errors.
