Title says it all…trying to track down who actually did the compiling of the Creative Commons-licensed binary libretro cores that were available for download.
Presumably Stenzek et al but I don’t know anything other than it didn’t come from us unless they just took one of our builds for whatever reason (doesn’t seem very likely). We don’t have any contact with or control over duckstation.org.
That’s the funny thing - it wasn’t Stenzek, he very explicitly said it was ‘managed by a third party’ and released the binary under limited Creative Commons, not GPL. RetroPie doesn’t seem to know who it was, either.
lol weird. It could be literally anyone, then. Some rando from their discord, or even an automated service like github actions.
