Nice - I have heard twice now reports that performance is much higher.
Yes great work.
Only downside is the cryptic naming of mame zipped roms.
The recent search commit with “/” is helping but it’s still difficult to find something. (sunset riders = sunset? no, snst? no, it was ssriders )
Added it.[/quote]
thought I already said “thank you” for this but not sure where I posted it? Anyway Thank You it’s much appreciated

The latest version of MAME0.78 crashes in Andoird when trying to load a game & Mupen64plus crashes in Win64 when trying to load a game , so I am using cores from last build.

Mupen64plus won’t compile & MAME2003 still crashes when trying to launch a game on Android.
Get yourself a Linux box and you won’t have all of these problems building for Android.
Anyway, just post the compile log for Mupen 64 so I can see what is up.

Interesting enough is that I run KUbuntu 12.04 in a vm for all my android self compiles. As for Mupen64plus, it seems you found & fixed the issues though MAME0.78 still crashes while loading a game.
AWESOME!!! I’m so happy I can play lynx games on retroarch. and the mame2013 core would be really sweaty if it run as fast as mame2010! Thx for your hard work.
BTW: any chance to port Mednafen pc-fx core to retroarch? and I also find there are jaguar libretro and 3do libretro in develop…will you add them in your test build?

Squarepusher could you take a look at this log from my jxd s7800b please? Games always freeze for me. It doesn’t happen in 0.9.9.6 though.

It’s been awhile since I last updated. With today’s test build if I hit F1 to get into RGUI then hit it again it exits instead of going back to the game like it used to (Windows). Is this intended behavior or something I should open an issue on git for?
Edit: Did a fresh compile today and this has been fixed
Thanks for sharing!
Entering the core options during a game crashes Retroarch in win64. Rolled back to a retroarch.exe I compiled on 12/12 fixes it.

@Awakened & Tatsuya79, I was able to go back and forth between RGUI & Mupen64plus using F1 on this Win64 compile.
Nice. And it doesn’t have the weird Xinput problem I was having with my own compile.
Finally figured out what was making the games freeze on my jxd s7800b. It was the threaded video driver option. With that off everything seems to work as it should.
