Lakka dreamcast, reicast problems

Hello! I’m having trouble getting lakka and reicast to work. I put the bios files in the system/dc folder. I have retropie as well and I can play a dreamcast game on that, so I know that that ROM works. It just goes to the flower and doesnt do anything after that, or sometimes it is at the flower for a bit and goes back to the menu. I have googled this extensively but can’t find much help. Could someone point me in the right direction? I am able to add roms, thanks!

Also, is there a way to get back to the menu by pushing a button when it gets stuck at the flower?

I think we’ll need a log to be able to even guess what’s going on.

Sorry, how do I generate a log and upload it so you can see?

Not sure if this is what you need. This is everything thats in the log.txt file - I think I’m also having some problems with my LAN connection to my Lakka and I don’t think it’s generating the full report.

I don’t see any cores/content being loaded in that log, but I’m pretty sure Reicast-libretro doesn’t work on ARM hardware.

Could you recommend another emulator then? Reicast works on my retropie fine and I use my raspberry pi with that. I can’t really find the bios’ for redream, or do I just rename them?

You should be able to rename the BIOS for Redream, yeah. Other than that, there aren’t any other emus, and Lakka can’t launch external programs, so if it’s not libretro, it’s not going to work.

It created the VMU files under system/dc but it’s not working to and/or from the bios is what it seems. Is there a way of getting a more detailed error log that might help?

if you ssh into it from another machine and then go through the regular actions, it should print any pertinent information to the console window.
