Pascal GPU support

After the issue with my AMD card, I got a 1060. I later discovered Lakka couldn’t yet support this card, due to the usage of LibreElec that needs an update. Is this still the case?

I see gouchi had mentioned this would be available in kernel 4.12. In the latest nightly build on 10/25, it’s still a no-go. I couldn’t find any other mention of this since December 2017.

Pascal GPU are NV130, so i’m not sure they would work 100% properly with lakka, even with the latest kernels.

Also, with the performance gap being what it is (https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=nouveau-summer-2018&num=4), i wouldn’t recommend using a 1060 with the “nouveau” driver (up to 20x faster with proprietary).

@CompyCarGuy yes please check this issue for update. But as @BarbuDreadMon said there will be performance gap as it is not yet possible to do dynamic re-clocking with nouveau.

Thanks for the replies! I’ll look at some options.
