Swap installed hdd from one pc to another

Hi guys

Is it possible to swap the hard drive with everything installed and co figured the way I liked. From one pc to another. Or because of the other specs is it better to freshly install a new?

And when is there going to be a new version of lakka. It’s been very quiet

If it’s the same architecture, it’d probably be fine. If you’re using any external storage (additional hdds, etc.) you might have issues with paths, though.

No. No external drives. And the same x64 architecture so I’ll be fine. If the proseccors is faster I’ll benefit from it to then?

Yeah, it should scale to whatever hardware you put it on. Linux has the drivers compiled into the kernel, so it should be able to handle the new devices in my admittedly limited experience doing such a thing.

O wow Linux is so great.

How is this project going? Because it’s been a while there’s been an update

The lead dev just had a child, so that’s been part of it, but it’s still moving along fine. Most of the work happens on the RetroArch side and then trickles down to the individual Lakka builds.

Wow great news for him congrats.

Thanks for the replays

You may try our nightly builds if needed.
