When should Online Updater be used to update Core Info Files, Assets, Joypad Profiles, etc? Should this be done after each Lakka release or would this already be the most up-to-date or maybe after applying new games? Unsure when to use this or whether I need too.

Generally it’s just used in Lakka to update the point release version itself, there shouldn’t be any need to update anything else, other than content from the ‘Content Downloader’ section.
