Like the “Roms” folder, is it possible to store “System/BIOS”, “Thumbnails”, etc on an external drive rather than the USB drive?
If using another live version, rather than downloading the content again (say thumbnails), could this folder be used instead?
Yes you can configure retroarch to use whatever directories you need. You can find all directory assignments under settings.
Yes, but the external drive is only accessible via the “Roms” folder. Ideally, I would like to create other folders at the same level (rather than inside the roms folder).
Sorry but that is where external drives are configured to be mounted, this cannot be changed without rebuilding Lakka.
Your only option is to use symlinks.
