Yeah I’m not totally sure, it’s fun that you can see both screens.
In terms of this vs the regular rom, Here it looks like you are seeing two screens running at full res, which the regular genesis I think would only ever output 1 full res image, so if you are split screen, then each screen would be half the vertical resolution

Custom marquee for 1941 Counter Attack
There doesn’t seem to be a copy of the North American marquee anywhere that I can find. There’s an australian one but it’s very low resolution and not really usable. It seems like most people are using something someone photoshopped together a while back, but I don’t personally like it that much.
Anyway, I found a print of an old poster for the game on eBay for 5 bucks, so I bought it, scanned it, recomposed the artwork to fit in a marquee format and traced the logo in vectors to put together something cleaner and at very high resolution.
Just did this for fun, if anyone wants to add it to an overlay, please go ahead:

Awesome Walter. I get my rotator sticks tomorrow and I can’t wait to play using this overlay. 
I hope to get mine soon too! I’m actually workin on building a reproduction Ikari Warriors in a Dynamo HS-1 format and can hopefully finish it up in the next week or so with those sticks

Looks great. How many repro cabs are you planning to build?
Not sure, I’m planning to sell the air hockey table so I could fit another 7-8 cabinets in the space. It will be a mix of originals and repro’s, I have everything I need to assemble a Star Wars cabinet, including the original control deck and monitor shroud, so this is probably next. Will play it by ear after that.
BTW, my rotary sticks just arrived

Since you have the sticks already are you planning to test them out today?
Nah, not goin with sit down cabinet lol. The plans are out there but I’d prefer to keep the space for the other games
