Really? What part of NO PIRACY do you not understand?
I will reword that. Its just for the overlay. My apologies
Just didn’t want you digging yourself a hole.
TBH, I think Teknoparrot is the devil and discussion of it should be limited.
Terminator Salvation 4K Vertical Overlay.
I will revisit this one again and make a version that doesn’t have a giant robot staring at you. Likely get more of the gun station and guns added next go around.

Thank you everyone for being patient while I finished all of these overlays. This is the last one on my list of overlays I had as WIP. More to come soon!

Custom marquee for 1941 Counter Attack
There doesn’t seem to be a copy of the North American marquee anywhere that I can find. There’s an australian one but it’s very low resolution and not really usable. It seems like most people are using something someone photoshopped together a while back, but I don’t personally like it that much.
Anyway, I found a print of an old poster for the game on eBay for 5 bucks, so I bought it, scanned it, recomposed the artwork to fit in a marquee format and traced the logo in vectors to put together something cleaner and at very high resolution.
Just did this for fun, if anyone wants to add it to an overlay, please go ahead:
Here it is at full resolution: 600dpi 1941 Counter Attack Marquee
EDIT: Here is a bezel I reworked based on a photo of what looks like the Australian artwork:
And here are high res files for the logo:
SEGA CD 4K Vertical Overlay (Kiosk?) There are two versions here. I personally like how the darker one turned out.
Thanks to @Duimon for providing renders. The bluish frame and speakers for this are from his work. https://github.com/Duimon/Duimon-Mega-Bezel
Also, thanks to @ArsInvictus for the lower metal grill. That one is from some of his work. 4K Vertical Overlay Community Contributions

GONDOMANIA
Is a shoot 'em up game developed by Data East and released in 1987.
It is war with the Gondos… Your women are held captive in the Planet of Thorns. Mount your air bike… Prepare for battle!
Awesome Walter. I get my rotator sticks tomorrow and I can’t wait to play using this overlay.
I hope to get mine soon too! I’m actually workin on building a reproduction Ikari Warriors in a Dynamo HS-1 format and can hopefully finish it up in the next week or so with those sticks
Here’s a Ghouls N Ghosts I finished up last week in the same cab design:
Looks great. How many repro cabs are you planning to build?
Not sure, I’m planning to sell the air hockey table so I could fit another 7-8 cabinets in the space. It will be a mix of originals and repro’s, I have everything I need to assemble a Star Wars cabinet, including the original control deck and monitor shroud, so this is probably next. Will play it by ear after that.
BTW, my rotary sticks just arrived
Very cool. 7-8 other cabinets or one Star Wars Cockpit arcade cabinet.
Since you have the sticks already are you planning to test them out today?
Nah, not goin with sit down cabinet lol. The plans are out there but I’d prefer to keep the space for the other games
I’m hoping I will have time tonight, but if not then I definitely will tomorrow.
Asterix Marquee
I’m not sure on the history behind the Asterix artwork. I’m assuming there was some art distributed but I haven’t seen any actual Asterix cabinets in images online, so I can’t say. I did find a couple variations of a “marquee” but both appear to be something put together by fans after the fact. One looks based on a flyer and the other appears to be inspired by the instruction card, for which a scan does exist.
I liked the design of the one based on the flyer, but only low resolution copies of that are available, so I upscaled, traced and reproduced it in high resolution. I also added some trademark type text and symbols, as an actual marquee would normally have had that.
If anyone has information or an image about the actual original marquee let me know, otherwise I plan to create an overlay using what I produced:
I’m also thinking to put together a custom bezel and CPO design, as overlay options.
