Amazing shaders conversion

Good evening, does anyone have the skills to convert this shaders created by the author of MATTIAS (SLANG) to retroarch? Thank youCattura

Two of mattias’s shaders have already been converted for RetroArch, idk about this one, though it looks similar to the one ported more recently, can’t remember what it’s labeled as though.

It’s called newpixie. It has visible scanlines, yes.

Steam-crt preset you can find in

shaders\shaders_slang\crt\newpixie-crt.slangp

Mattias shaders have been corrected and lightened (according to the author). The newPixie shaders are not only not correct, but have no scanlines, they are blurry.

That pic you showed him, I can clearly see the scanlines. Phosphor masks don’t have a horizontal element to them really, they pretty much are normally vertical with an occasional offset type thing going on depending on the mask style.

Again, I can clearly see the scanlines. Kinda confused on what you’re going on about.

The scan lines are very blurry, absolutely different from what the author shows in those screenshots

If you can make it look better, by all means do so. PRs are welcome.

@dovella Are you running at 4k? This shader only looks correct at 1080 otherwise the scanlines are too small to be seen.

Also debated on asking if they were using integer scaling but was to dead to mess with it lol

Anyone know what mask that is? Is that BW aperture?

What I found is SteemCRT_Atari version is the same as newpixie-crt.slangp

but DOSBOX-CRT by Mattias Gustavsson is more clear variant - no pixel bleed in red&blue color

PS. Tested on 1080p no integer scale

I’ll try and look over the dosbox version, I make no promises as I’m lazy af and haven’t been feeling well.
