Best crt shader for raspberry pi 4 (rpi4)

Subject says pretty much it all.

Did anyone test what CRT shaders is the raspberry pi 4 capable of, and what are the most realistic ones?

I’m aware of both crt-pi and zfast, but whilst they’re OK, I hope there could be something even better. Thanks,

Don’t have a Pi4 myself, but an old phone with comparable specs. Crt-Pi or zfast where meant to be used with the earlier versions of the Pi, so you probably have more options with the fourth. Try GDV Mini, maybe Guest Advanced Fastest or the old Guest Venom Fast (when using gl instead of slang). Assuming 1080p resolution.

crt-consumer and the various “fake” CRT shaders are all worth checking out.

If it has only 32 gflops or so (as I read) there’s no way it can run crt-consumer. Htc one m7 has around 60 and it crawls. I would try fake-crt-geom/potato, zfast series, crt-pi, crt-geom-mini. Crt-consumer would probably need around 200 gflops. Gdv-mini wouldn’t run well too with 32 gflops, it would need around ~100.

According to the Author, this runs on a Pi4:

You can also try my presets, some of which add things like Guest.R NTSC Shaders and more.
