That’s a good point. On the other hand, looking at the poor result in “hi-res” games (meaning 480 vertical lines) maybe I should wait to GPU and 4K TV prices to drop. I guess when the “Super” line of Nvidia board launchs, old boards get even cheaper. Also, a nice TV with VRR (and maybe HDR) can make it… 
The game and reflection area will be smaller and therefore use less processing, the areas outside of the bezel reflection boundary are cached and reused between frames.

I have an RTX 4060, I think was about $300-ish and it will handle anything I can throw at it emulation-wise.
