Blackscreen except of installing a core or starting a PS2 game

Hello there,

I installed Lakka on my old PC and when I want to install any Core I get a blackscreen and then I cant do anything. Then my TV cant find any signals from this PC but it’s still on. It also happens when I want to start a PS2 game. (But maybe my GPU i simply to old for this :,) )

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83GHz

GPU: Nvidia Quadro FX 3700

Lakka-Version: Generic.x86_64-2.3.2

I also noticed that the Build-Date is older then a year but when I try to update Lakka it says ‘Task failed’

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Please try to a make a test with nightly builds.

For Play! core please test with playable games. Please bear in mind that even they are playable some will be slow. Play! is a promising emulator but it will need some work.

Also we will have to fix some compilation issue with the Play! core.

Thank you.

Thanks for the help. PS2 games are still not working (The games do not start) but I don’t have a blackscreen anymore  . Do I need the PS2 BIOS for that? I saw that it is needed for the PCSX2 Emulator. But I didn’t find the games in the Compatibility list either.

But first of all Im happy that I don’t have the issue with the never ending blackscreen anymore :).

You don’t need BIOS.
