So frustrated, downloaded multiple times, and made the key using terminal and other programs. The macbook never detects it.
If i download a windows version and use it on my netbook no problem, but the mac version is never detected by my old macbook. Am i doing something wrong? I really wanted to put it on my old macbook for my nephew.

I believe Intel Macs use UEFI instead of BIOS, and I don’t think Lakka supports that yet. It’s planned to soon but it will break some other things that are pretty important, so kivutar is holding off until he can figure out a better compromise.
I’m using Lakka on a macbook air. I guess the problem is the BIOS emulation.
You can try alternate boolloaders like PLOP.

Ok just googled PLOP - found someone installed Chrome OS using it. Will give this a shot and let you know how it goes. Thanks Kivutar!
