Can't access Lakka over network on Lubuntu... but can on Windows 7?

I’m running the latest nightly (8/13/15) on a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B. When I try to access the Lakka’s files and folders over a network share, it works just fine in Windows 7. But I can’t seem to get it working on Lubuntu 14.04.2. I get a “Server timeout” and “Location is not mounted” error, depending on which file manager I’m using.

Does anybody know how I could fix this? I don’t want to have to boot into Windows 7 every time I want to transfer files to the Pi :stuck_out_tongue:

I had the same problem with the latest stable release from May.

Hello MultiKoopa,

if you have problems getting samba mounting the lakka share, you can you sshfs instead ! I think both gnome and kde can mount ssh shares.

It seems the package Gigolo was a big help with this without using KDE or GNOME.

Thanks anyway
