Can't Pair 2 Retro-Bit Sega Controllers simultaneously

I have two wireless Sega Genesis controllers by Retro-Bit and I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to get them BOTH to work at the same time.

I am using the latest version of Lakka and running it on an Asus Tinkerboard. I can pair them and power them on individually but never at the same time.

The Bluetooth menu sees the 2nd pad and says its “connected” but only for a few seconds. Going into bluetoothctl via ssh gives the same behavior. I can see it connect but it won’t stay on. Meanwhile, the first pad is always fine.

Now is this an issue with the Tinkerboard’s bluetooth or an issue with the pads? I don’t want to spend $50 on two 8bitdo M30s to do a hypothesis .

Any idea what’s causing this?

Its a driver issue, you need to wait until we transition to mainline kernel

Thanks, thought I was going nuts lol. Any loose idea when this will be done? Going to try to play single player Genesis games in the meantime haha.
