Current Situation Presently there is no command line tool to extract 7-Zip archives in Lakka.
Desired Situation Include p7zip from LibreELEC System Tools package in the Lakka distribution.
Goal 7-Zip offers stronger compression than ZIP, it’s useful for long term storage of ROMs (backup). P7ZIP command line support would bypass the extra intermediate step of decompressing from 7-Zip and recompressing to ZIP before transferring ROMs to Lakka over a network. As an added bonus, it also supports extraction of RAR archives.
