Comparing each Shader Parameters settings for crt-royale-ntsc-svideo

I wanted to see the visual differences between the settings for myself, so I went through the trouble of taking screenshots and documenting each of them, for easy and quick comparisons. I thought I’d share my results here, in case it might be useful to other people too.

nice job! this must have taken quite a while to compile.

FYI, for the NTSC shader: the custom fringing and custom artifacting settings only work when the ntsc shader is set to the ‘custom’ mode. Otherwise, they will be overridden by whatever value the mode enforces. I suspect this is why those pics look identical.

Thanks! It didn’t take that long, only for the posting, because I had to format it pretty and upload the images to a website, making sure their order didn’t get messed up.

Thanks for the info on the NTSC setting! There are a couple more of situations like that, I think, where a certain setting depends upon another to show any difference. I think some of the Triad numbers/size has something like that, too. But I’m not sure, because I’m still learning about most parameters, so I don’t want to comment on any suspicion. So thank you for pointing that out!

Yes, those only work with the correct mask sampling mode (I forget which one).

It’s the item 34: Mask - Specify Number Of Triads. It’s a switch to enable the usage of item 36, that’s why your 36 item pictures are identical.
