Controller malfunction upon pluggin in

I plugged in a PS3 controller for the first time and Lakka started scrolling up and down real fast and then it eventually stopped. Controller did not work. Whats up with that?

Are you sure it is a genuine controller ?

Please provide the output of when you plugged your controller . You will need to access to Lakka command line interface.

dmesg | tail

Thank you.

I have the same issue periodically with 8Bitdo controllers. It seems to happen more often when you plug in the second controller.

First controller works.

dmesg | tail

This is another controller than dualshock 3…

Are you using the latest firmware for your 8bitdo controller ?

Yes, latest, v4 and i’m Lakka 2.1 RC1

UPDATE: tested some more. 2nd control works in games, but not to control the menu. The menu setting to allow any control to control the menu was set correctly, so perhaps that configuration setting is being ignored?

I am experiencing the same issue here with 2 official Dualshock 3 controllers. As soon as i connect them up the menu scrolls like crazy like the down arrow is being held down or something, sometimes when pressing the ps button it stops and you can use the controller as normal. When i connect it via Bluetooth it does the same thing except it then disconnects a few seconds later.

I have a Dualshock 4 paired up and working correctly but I want to use the Dualshock 3’s for multiplayer action but it would seem something is very wrong here.

I am running Lakka 2.1 rc4 on a Wetek Core.

I’m experiencing the same issue with an SN30 Pro controller. The controller has the latest firmware (1.33). Any update on this?
