Dip switches on Mame 2003 Plus

So, I have the last version of Lakka (2.2.2) which comes with MAME 2003 Plus, on a Odroid C2. It’s running great, but I want to enable some games like, Dungeons & Dragons - Shadow Over Mystara, to play 4 players. I just can’t figure out how to access the dip switch menu on Mame. When I press the L3 button on my ps3 Controller, I get into MAME Menu, but the only options are:“Bookkeeping Info”, “Game Information”, “Game History”, “Cheat”, “Generate XML DAT”, “Return to Game”. If I go to lakka game menu, inside options, there is a option "Dip Switch/Cheat input port"it’s always off, and when I turn it on, nothing happens. What an I doing wrong? Any tips?

After you turn it on, did you close content and then reopen it?

I did. It did not work. But ate the end, I solved the problem connecting a keyboard and pressing F2. It turns out this specific game does not have dip switches on the Mame Menu, so I have to do the Changes in the Game Menu. This way, I was able to change the setup to 4 players:))
