Dreamcast Raspberry pi3

Hi everyone, I have a dreamcast emulator on the version for raspberry pi3. I’ve called the bios in the system folder, but any game I try to launch does not start and goes back to the initial screen. Who can help me. Thank you

Which core? If Reicast, I believe you need the BIOS in system/dc rather than directly in ‘system’. Also, don’t expect it to run anywhere near full speed.

Hi, I have also a problem with the dreamcast emulator!! I’ve put the reicast bios and flash in the directory system/dc (md5 are good), but when I put a game (I tried cdi, cgi, cue) and then scan my folder, nothing happend! I can’t see my DreamCast appears like other consoles!

Anyone can help me please??? :sob::sob::sob:

can you load the games manually? that is, through ‘load content’ rather than from a playlist?

Hello, Thanks for your response @hunterk . But no, I load the core (redream or reicast the issue is the same), then I see the information and I can read that the two files dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin are missing… Then, when I try to lanch a game via load content, then after a few second I go back to the initial screen and the core is no longer loaded

Ok, if it’s saying that those files are missing, you’ll need to find the right files and get them into the right place until it says it sees them.

It’s really weird, because I do have the files dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin in the folder “system\dc”, and I checked the md5 are good… So I do not know why it says their are missing…

Thanks for the answer anyway

Here’s a big hint: MD5 checksums. Don’t leave home without them.
