DS4 bluetooth controller input problems

First of all, hi to everyone, first post!

Secondly, excuse my english if i make mistakes, it’s not as good as i’d like.

I’ve been toying last weeks with the idea of dedicate a spare pc that i have to emulate some games.

The pc it’s a giada with atom cpu, nvidia ion, wifi and bluetooth integrated.

I tried and succeded connecting and getting autoconfig a bluetooth DS4 controller following your wiki and this steps --> http://blog.instanttechnology.com.au/?tag=ds4-lakka

Basically I’ve changed the default joypad folder in retroarch.cfg to /storage/joypads and added a DS4 bluetooth autoconfig profile.

After that, i’m able to pair the controller just pressing the ps button as it should be, but i got a really annoing issue.

Every time I load a rom, the controller indicates that it’s still paired (dark blue llight) but it stops responding completly. I have to switch it off and back on, and then works again, but if I go back to retroarch xmb pressing r3+l3 i have the same problem again and i have to restart the controller.

The same problem is present in the xmb menu if by mistake I press the triangle button, search screen is displayed. I press X button and search screen goes away but the controller stops responding at all.

I will provide more information if you want, just don’t know what would be useful.

Please chek Lakka’s documentation. Moreover, you can get joypad autoconfig profile via the menu Online updater > Update Autoconfig Profiles.

Thanks gouchi. I’ve read the doc already before you said it, my controller is paired trusted and working correctly, that’s not nor have been my problem. You can get the auto config profile trough online updater, yes, but the auto config profile that you get works with the controller connected trough usb. If you connect trough bluetooth you get a different input_device name and the auto configuration don’t work, so you have to edit the profile and write the name displayed when you pair it.

I did all this, I get the controller working, paired and configured.

My real problem is the one I described before, every time I enter or exit the xmb menu I have to switch off and back on the ds4 for it to work.

And there’s nothing in the docs nor the forum about this.
