Thank you very much the parameters were the same
gamecube runs perfect in Dolphin with the isos, but Wii does not work in retroarch, what game format do I have to use… iso? wbfs?
wbfs format works fine for me. I wouldn’t know about iso
Wii requires some extra setup. It is in the libretro docs.
https://docs.libretro.com/library/dolphin/
ISOs should work fine but I have been using Dolphin to compress them to *.gcz. There is also a recent *.rvz that is supposed to have some advantages.
I have Integer scaling turned on for both axis. I think I need to fake it in non-integer. It will be a quick fix. I will get to it this afternoon.
again many thanks for all the hard work you do
Hey buddy, im not as advanced as yourself with artwork and RetroArch in general…I read that u couldn’t get the mame handhelds to load in the RetroArch mame core…are u still having issues with that ?..if u still want to try it then let me know…I have them loading with multiple views and I think I made a bezel for 1 or 2 of the tiger handhelds that I couldn’t find a legit bezel for…not sure if all the handhelds bezels were finalized and completed…but for myself the only way I could get them to properly load in RetroArch was to launch them via cmd…if u want I can load up a video to show u and to show how the cmd should look k
Thank you. I have a policy that I won’t do a graphic for a system that I can’t get running.
This of course means that I can successfully run all the systems on my list.
There are a few that need a command line, and some that also need an ini, but the vast majority use the SL XML method.
Yea…your probably right… see with me, I use a simple batch script to automate all the cmd files in seconds…then I made another batch script to automate all the opt files needed…basically I have all the mame handhelds set to a higher speed (probably due to the bezels) and all these games need to be set to “boot to bios”…but again I only use android so maybe it’s the same with the pc version
Here’s an attempt at a Pink themed GP32. I will be doing color variations, of course, but I have other things on my mind right now.
I may take that route if I ever set these up in my new HTPC. Using cmd files as ROMs may have an advantage.
The GP32 fix is in the repo. Let me know if there are any other issues.
This is the files I made for these handhelds like konami and tiger…https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G-JwgxYJT3wRdpLM877XUgWIRhIfAoGJ/view?usp=drivesdk And this is the video of them working and I show all the different views including the ones with the shadow all within the mame artwork as u already know from the pc version of mame https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GH00Mfic6hInPhuagJEW0UTvDhVm0zMN/view?usp=drivesdk
Also don’t forget, I only use android (nvidia shield) so if anyone was wondering if it’s possible on Android or like someone a few days ago couldn’t properly display the artwork on mame for RetroArch on the pc, it’s definitely possible
many thanks for the fix, works great and look awesome
The Apple IIe and Apple IIgs are in the repo, including the full cast of CRT variants, plus the Monitor and Monochrome Monitor.
The overlays are also up.
I had almost forgotten how much work it is to create all the variants.
This brings the total system count up to 120.
I think I will find a couple of easy systems to do before I start work on the Apple IIgs Woz! Edition.
I guess I had better post some screenshots.
The only difference between the IIgs and the IIe is the logo plate.
Yeah that was a seriously off topic set of posts. As it turns out the users were able to get it to work after all. I personally wasn’t trying to do it myself.
This post is primarily about my work for the Mega Bezel, and I have no plans for the Game & Watch set.
Specifically, I do not do per game artwork, only system artwork.
