Dynamic Backgrounds and other settings not available (Pi 3)

I installed the latest version of Lakka for Rasberry Pi on a Pi 3 and I have noticed lots of configuration options are missing. In particular, the entire directory section is gone and dynamic backgrounds are not available. I also can’t tune audio latency, set a frame delay, or use hard GPU sync.

I have seen screenshots of a grid view for lakka playlists and I can’t figure out how to enable that either.

Is this by design? Is there a way to restore these features? Thank you.

Settings > user interface > show advanced options.
