Hello everyone,
I am aware of the §UAE core, which works … so so.
I was wondering if it wouldn’t be a good idea to simply make an Amiga500 core, so no configurations for Amiga600, Amiga1200 etc. needed. I hear that the A500 had good backwards compatibility, so it could be possible a configuration file is not needed at all. That is because 90% of the games are for the A500 anyways.
Also, since retroarch is a gamepad focused software, how about just ditching the keyboard emulation if this is possible at all?! I can only speak from my childhood experiences, but usually all I had to do was press Enter and then I never touched the keyboard again.
Last but not least, I heard good things about WinFellow [1], in regards to porting it. Maybe this is a better alternative for libretro than PUA or FSUAE.
What do you guys think?
