FBA-Core has Issues with few Games on ODROID C2

Few Games freezes after internal RAM Test done and took me back to RA/Lakka-Interface. had noticed this on all later Irem-Games (R-Type Leo, In the Hunt, Gunforce and more) most other games i try will run without any issues.

On my x64 machine (Lakka-Generic.x86_64-devel-20161221183017-r21729-g274b40f.img) these Irem - games are running just fine with same romset (0.2.97.39).

To be honest, i have doubts irem m107 games will run at full speed on odroid c2 anyway. And i can’t really help you without some debug output. All i can say is those game run on rpi3 (not at full speed though) without crashing, so it’s not an arm bug.

surprisingly with Mame2003-Core these irem games run nearly at fullspeed (without Frameskipping) on Odroid C2 . Any Ideas why FBA fails completly on the m107 games when using C2 ?

Nope, as i said they work on my overclocked rpi3 (they run around 50 fps), which is almost the same hardware. If you provide me with some output, perhaps i’ll be able to help.

C2 performs a lot better CPU on both are nearly the same but the C2 clocks standard on 2GHz. no change this helps out by the need for the 10fps on this games?

what you need to try help me with fba ?

Well, i read everywhere, including the manufacturer’s website, it is 1.5Ghz, which is not that much above an overclocked rpi3. I don’t know about the C2’s overclocking ability though.

The output when you launch retroarch with the core and the rom would be nice, but since you are using lakka, i don’t know how you are supposed to do that. With retroarch it would be something like “retroarch -v -L fbalpha_libretro.so rtypeleo.zip” on the command line

but in most cases performance seems to be not so different you are on right

Official odroid website : http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php This thread proves it is 1.5Ghz, and it also mention you can’t overclock it : http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=23044
