First experience with lakka, thumbnails\wallpaper question

Hi guys, I recently installed Lakka on an old netbook that was really too slow for everyghing else, is an acer aspire one (amd c-50 1,0ghz and 1Gb ddr3). Everything worked flawlessy, I can emulate everything up to some simple psx game, and every arcade game i wanted to play on FBA. It also recognizes automatically my ibuffalo usb gamepad. I’m having some problems trying to get the FBA thumbnails, using the online updater I managed to get thumbnails for every system but if i choose FBA it says “failed task” everytime, I use the netbook directly connected to the LAN so I can access to the folders and manually place the thumbnails, but where to find the complete pack? On github I found only single files… Also where can I find custom wallpapers for every system?

The thumbnails are here.

Please check the documentation about dynamic wallpapers.

Please check the documentation about dynamic wallpapers.[/QUOTE] Hi, thank you for the answer. I already checked that site, the problem is that I should download the whole folder (I’m using a full romset). I don’t know how to do that using Windows, there is a chrome extension to download single folders on github but don’t seems to work… I was looking to some complete Fba boxart/snapshot archive… I Also checked the documentation for the wallpapers. I hoped someone would have already made some wallpaper for the various systems

They are changing also the thumbnails server so please try again later from Lakka.

For the wallpapers, as it said in the documentation :

“Currently, three wallpaper themes are provided in the default installation of Lakka. They are located in the directory /tmp/assets/wallpapers. Each wallpaper theme has a subfolder labelled by its image resolution.”

Well, I’ll try again during next days then. I’m having some other issues\questions:

  • can I use the hdmi output? I have an hdmi out on the aspire one but don’t seems to work
  • I’d like to use the funcion buttons on the laptop (maily for volume control) any way to achieve that?
  • how to delete “empty” playlists? Thank you
  • Yes you can use the hdmi output. Can you provide some log ? I think you will have to change video_monitor_index option in the configuration file.
  • Please check if you can bind with Setting Tab > Input > Input Hotkey Binds > Vol+ and Vol-
  • Please check if there is some file in /storage/playlists ? Empty playlists, how did you get them ? You have black squares ?
