Force lakka to only output on hdmi

I’m new to lakka, and I’m trying to get it working. I have it set up on a laptop with a broken screen (the left 1/3 of the screen is black, I can see the right 2/3). My goal is to have it just output through hdmi to my tv and be able to close the laptop lid. When lakka boots up, it is on both screens, but once it gets the the menu, the tv only shows the flower icon, and the menu is on the broken screen. Other things I have found have said you have to edit the retroarch.cfg and change the “video_monitor_index” to 2 instead of 0. I am able to do the using winSCP. The file didn’t have this field, but I added it in. The other info I have found makes it sound like the field should already be there, but i dont know if it should be. When I save the file, it copies over. When I restart my laptop, it does the same thing. If I open the retroarch.cfg file, video_monitor_index is set to 0. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Please read the documentation about editing the configuration file and it will be great if you can provide some log.

As you can see it on your screen, you can change monitor index in Setting Tab > Video > Monitor Index.

Thank you.
