Games compatibility matrix

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if some people made compatibility lists for retroarch ? Like this one : http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiSX/Compatibility

I think it would be great to have some kind of a matrix wiki-style that tells you if a game is playable for Lakka on each device, with comments below from the users. Maybe not for classic PC because it has many parameters, but at least RPI1 RPI2 Cubox-i and any supported small device.

I would even be interested to work on it. If you have useful links, please post them

For almost all the emulators out there, if it runs one game, it’ll pretty much run them all. Nintendo 64 is the most notable exception to this; as the emulator is unfinished. What you really want to know is if your specific hardware is fast enough to run each emulator!

Lakka’s documentation offers this, for example: http://www.lakka.tv/doc/Hardware-support/

It’s worth noting that Lakka’s developers have chosen to exclude emulators that run too slowly from each device-specific build. For example, no PSX on the Raspberry Pi 1.

Thanks for your answer.

I totally agree about removing cores that do not run well on a device.

I still think a compatibility matrix would be great. But something shared, nobody would want to fill it alone…

Or maybe it should be included in the lakka system as a system of note for each checksum for each device, but it’s another story… ^^

edit 1 : when I choose a computer to play video games, I want to know which games will be compatible, or else I’ll continue to use my previous computer(s).

It is one of my biggest problems about Lakka, and I’d like to solve it, for me, and the others if possible.

(By the way, the Wii homebrew community was pretty good at sharing this kind of information)

edit 2 : ok, maybe it should be a compatibility list per device, and another per core, which already exists at a small scale in the retroarch wiki.
