Hi everyone, I’m having some issues that piss me off. I recently got a Raspberry Pi 2, i decided to put Lakka on it first. The thing is I can’t use any gameboy advance (gba) game. Trying to launch one is causing a reboot of the system. I firstly used the OS version given on the main website, then I tried the last nightly version; nothing change. Other emulators seem to be working fine ( N64 games are running “fine”) Does someone know this issue/bug and a way to resolve it ?
Do you have the GBA bios?
WHat do you mean ? I simply installed the .img file with dd. I didn’t installed more.
You have to have the gba_bios.bin file for the GBA emulator to run any games.
Oh, right. So there is the download page https://github.com/libretro/libretro-super/tree/master/dist/info How do I know which one is good ? These is some .info file containing the gba mention
The gba_bios file is not on that page. The Lakka devs are not going to host a copyrighted file on their project site, and nobody here can tell you where to download it. Its is not hard to find if you simply Google for the file name, though.
I found it ! It works great now (using the last nightly release) Thanks for the help bro’.
