Getting Nintendo Joy-Cons to work on a Raspberry Pi

I’m running Lakka 4.3 on a RaspberryPi 4.

Trying to connect a Nintendo Joy-Con doesn’t work. I get the message “Joy-Con not configured” on the screen, the connection-LEDs on the Joy-Con do not stop flashing.
I can select the Joy-Con as an input device for a port in the options, but I can’t assign Joy-Con-Buttons to functions.

I also tried an 8bitdo controller via bluetooth which worked.
Is there anything I can do to make Joy-Con work?
