So i have found this wonderful CRT shader i like - GTU. I have been using it for Higan and i like it very much, but recently i started using retroarch and i found that the GTU shader that comes with it doesn’t look the same … I tried copying the higan shaders into retroarch but they are in FS/VS format and retroarch doesn’t recognize them. Anyone know how to fix this ? Here are some screenshots for comparison. http://postimg.org/image/5dcznhvpz/ http://postimg.org/image/j8ba5yq53/ http://postimg.org/image/paiwwgel3/
Those thumbs are so small it’s impossible to tell.
So i think i got the problem, the higan GTU is v0.40 and the retroarch one is v0.50 but on aliaspider made only a 0.30 and 0.50 version for retroarch. https://code.google.com/p/interpolation-shaders/downloads/list
In the config.h file, put two slashes (like this //) in front of the first line, compositeConnection. That should make the colors look more like the higan version.
Tried to comment the compositeConnection but its still nowhere near http://postimg.org/image/rln7xswhn/ The colors in the 0.40 GTU are bleeding and are glowing a lot more.
Maybe it’s because you use RGB color palette ?
How do i change it ?
I don’t know. It’s only a suggestion based on Nestopia Blargg NTSC Filters. Bsnes don’t have such options in RetroArch. Try to find something similar in Higan. I never had a change to try Higan by myself. Also did you try GTU-fallback? It works for me better than default GTU.
