Hi, I’m currently running the last version of Lakka (2.xx) on a Gigabyte Brix based on a Celeron J1900, it’s an old processor but runs Lakka just find for most of the emulators. Now I’m thinking about changing it for an Inten NUC6CAYH, mostly because of the optical output, HEVC support and AC Wifi (for movies really), but I want it to run Lakka too of course, so, my question is:
Considering the specs below and that the Intel NUC is much newer compared to the Brix J1900 (much more mem bandwidth and updated tech, but slower specs)… will this one be worse, same or better for Lakka ?
Also to consider, the Intel® HD Graphics 500 on the new NUC is much slower in Mhz, not sure why really… Here are both specs:
Intel NUC6CAYH: CPU with 1.5/2.3 Ghz Turbo & GPU Intel HD 500 with 250/750 MHz & More Mem Bandwidth & Newer Technology. Brix J1900: CPU with 2.0/2.4 Ghz Turbo & GPU Intel HD with 688/854 MHz.
What do you think ?
