Help with Lakka Resolution

Hello guys, im using lakka on old Dell Inspiron without screen with this specs: Core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.10Ghz 4GB DDR2 800mhz in DC Intel Mobile 4 Express Series.

when i turn lakka with the original screen, he start with normal resolution(1280x800). but i use this screen just for configuration, i want to use lakka on TV via VGA(dont have HDMI). but when i use a tv(i tried 2 different tvs, with 2 differnt VGA cables to be sure) the only resolution that i get is 1024x768.

I tried some things that i found here in forum but no sucess

here the log from retroarch:

i tried to disconnect virtually the notebook screen with video=LVDS-1:d on retroarch.cfg but log still show as connected.

sorry for bad english.

EDIT: For some strange reason i solve the problem turning lakka on with my PC monitor(that show the right resolution) and without rebooting, changing the VGA cable for TV (that use same resolution) and worked! even after a reboot lakka remains showing the right resolution.

but for some reason the resolution that i want(and both monitor and tv support, 1280x720) still not showing as a video mode on log:

can i force a videomode not available from log?

Hello, the things like video=LVDS-1:d doesn’t go in retroarch.cfg, it goes in the syslinux.cfg in your first partition.

Read this http://www.lakka.tv/doc/PC/

And from there you can maybe set a mode.

in default install Lakka create more than 1 partition?

now lakka detect all video modes correctly

i can change video modes from ssh? i tried from retroarch with no effect.

Yes Lakka always create two partition, the first one is 512MB and FAT32. The second one is ex4 and takes rest of the the available size of your disk.

When in SSH, you can remount the first partition in write mode to modify the bootloader config.
