settings onscreen overlay overlay scale.
Just lower the value until you get what you want. You may also have to scale down the video as well, to fit the tv overlay.
Turns out I was applying the overlay via the shaders menu. I had tried what you suggested but it hadn’t worked, but now that I actually enabled it via the overlay menu it works just fine.
Thanks for the help.
Sorry for reliving this post. But I’m having the same problem. I don’t know how to load the shader via overlay! help me please
you don’t load the border shaders via overlay. There’s a specific menu, settings > onscreen overlay where you can select overlays to put over the screen.
There is no way to do that cause TV Analog is a .cg file and not a .cfg. When I enter to settings - onscreen overlay it doesn’t show any file of this cg.
For the analog TV shaders, you just load the cgp files. They don’t include a TV border, AFAIK. You have to load one of those up separately via the overlay system. So, get your virtual screen looking how you want it with whichever shader(s) and then go to the overlays and find the bezel you want.
Thanks for all the replies. I still can’t figure it out how to make this work. I have downloaded the preset shader from here http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481&highlight=analog+shadeWhen you are in a game you got the quick menu and then at the bottom are the shaders, when you load the preset from that link it loads 8 pass shaders wich include the TV border as a .cg file. When I tried to open anything from the folder of this pack from the overlays menu, no file appears on the screen cause they’re not .cgf files. You get a “no items here” text. I tried everyone of the scale ratio on the video menu, but I got a Large border and a large inside screen of the game. I don’t know what am I doing wrong. And the border is presented on the pack as a PNG file, but I can’t find a way to load that as an overlay and the rest as shaders.
I’m new to RA and I’m using windows 7 x64 by the way…
My specs are: 4 GB Ram nVidia GT 620 (is a cheap one but it works fine for me)
VeryBlack, i’d suggest moving on to version 2 of the pack, its better anyway and lets you load your own overlay on the backend of retroarch since everyone’s monitor resolution is different.
