How do you install cores? (I'm new to this)

I’m running off a PC. I installed Lakka. (i3 quad core, 6GB, Geforce 730)

I do see “Load Cores” with a big list of cores, assuming those are the actual emulators.

When I load a PSP game, the flower icon stays on for minutes before it starts.

I’m sure if I’m doing something wrong or right, but if anyone has a tutorial or suggestions, its greatly appreciated.

Lakka comes with the cores preinstalled.

The long flower icon is when it’s loading that game. You’re correct that it shouldn’t take that long. I would suggest trying some other games and some other cores to see if it’s a universal issue (something we might be able to fix) or just that game (something we probably can’t fix).
