How does Lakka configure controllers?

If I connect my gamepads to Lakka, they work out of the box. Also if I look at /dev/input/js0 The same controller doesn’t work on OpenElec 5.0.x and I can’t see any changes at /dev/input/js0.

What’s the difference? I thought Lakka is based on OE? Does Lakka use udev, evdev or SDL to get controllers working? I’m using OE/Lakka on arm. Thx

Lakka uses udev, and the autoconfiguration of joypad is handled by retroarch itself, it’s the joypad autoconfig feature of retroarch.

So I have a question to that I use a f710 and a dual shock as long as I have the f710 on port one all is good if I want to use it on port 2 I have a problem. I have to reconfigure… And the dual shock I have to reconfigure every reboot. Anyone can help here?
