unfortunately i have no lakka on my pi3 just an ubuntu mate. I’ve built libretro-uae from the last commit 03fe971 in libretro repo on my pi3 and it works fine for me. no crash at uaeres_install like in the above issue.
Thank you for the update. I see you have also updated the issue .
I noticed in the configuration files i saw that you used Amiga 1200 kickstart 3.1 and cpu 68000. Afaik the Amiga 1200 kickstart version 3.1 should require a 68020 cpu… Try a more compatible kickstart 1.3 or, if you use AGA games try using Kickstart 3.0, 68020 CPU and AGA chipset. The common Amiga 500 configuration (that play almost 99% of Amiga 500 games) is Kickstart 1.3, 68000, 0.5mb chip ram, 0.5mb slow ram (bogo mem) and ECS chipset. To play Amiga 1200 games i would suggest Kick 3.0, 68020, 2mb chip ram, (if you want you can put some fast ram as amiga 1200 do not have bogo mem but is not necessary) and finally AGA chipset. This should play 90% of a1200 games. There are some A1200 games that require powerful cpu and lot of FAST ram (especially 3d games like alien breed 3d, doom clones and so on)
UAE4ARM feels much better, no hardoced buttons that brings up menus in your face or exits the emulator as you play but the sound is crackling abit?
The resolution is messy in both emulators, abit of tinkering can get it to almost ok-ish.
The Settlers loads disk 1, 2 and 3 but when it needs disc 2 again it flips. No idea who to tell about this or where to tell it.
Alot of games do work flawless and alot of them don’t.

Hello , any news? to run adfs on 2 or more disks as you put in the UAE file?
thanks
The core has been updated with a lot of new features, please check it.
If you need to uae configuration file, please add
floppy0=/storage/roms/amiga/disk1.adf
floppy1=/storage/roms/amiga/disk2.adf
Thank you.
Amiga emulator doesn’t see game roms.
Hi, I use Lakka 2.3.2 on Raspberry Pi4. I’d like to use it for playing Amiga games. I have kickstart rom file, and some adf format files with games. I prepared game.uae file, which I use to run game. It looks like below:
use_gui=no
show_leds=true
chipmem_size=1
bogomem_size=4
fastmem_size=2
gfx_center_vertical=simple
gfx_center_horizontal=simple
gfx_width=646
gfx_height=552
sound_channels=mixed
kickstart_rom_file=/storage/system/kick.rom
nr_floppies=1
floppy0=/storage/ROMs/Amiga/Prince.adf
cpu_type=68000
cpu_speed=real
cpu_compatible=false
cpu_cycle_exact=false
When I run it, I can see the kickstart screen, but game doesn’t run. Adf file access path is correct, but I think there is some reason that kickstart doesn’t see this file in this location.
When I put adf file together with kick.rom in “system” folder, and change uea file like below, everything runs great.
floppy0=/storage/system/Prince.adf
What is the reason that it doesn’t works when files are on they default location?
Thanks for help.
It’s recommended to use WHDLoad games. Each game comes in a single LHA file. You load that and it “just works.” Just make sure you set the core option to emulate an A1200.
Thank you for help. Could you please send some detalis how to do it? I have all games in adf format. Is it possible to conver it for lha? Maybe there is some tutorial or decription?
Hello, just out of curiosity: in lakka the kickstart file name has to be specific? If so, what are the correct filenames? Thanks
Stop preparing and using uae confs, as it is not at all necessary anymore, and it will conflict with core options.
Simply launch the ADF, or create a M3U for multiple ADFs, or place all of them in a single ZIP/7z if you don’t need to write hiscores (it extracts to temp and generates a M3U).
Hello! I get several days to make LHA games works. IDK what i am doing wrong. Select “Model” to A1200 fast etc. Read many text in www and still get same result. Lakka 4.2.

It appears to me you’re trying to run whdload installers for the games, not the games themselves. Those are also LHA files and this confuses a lot of people. What you need are the pre-installed whdload games that come as LHA files. I can’t link to those here since links to copyrighted ROMs aren’t allowed.
Please explain this behavior? I try to run LHA file on lakka, on PC with retroarch and get same result.
I just did in the previous post. The LHA file you got is not a whdload game. It’s a whdload installer for a game.
The file size should also tell you that those LHAs do not have any game data in them, therefore there is no way they could “just work”.
Thx, my mistake. My eyes was closed after 10h searching and now i get worked lha archive for lakka.
TY everyone!
Tell me , is it to run a game or to use the whdload , like @RealNC said. Like i remember my past years in my amiga cocoon whdload was, and still alive.
